Pierogies By Longways. Welcome to Pierogies By Longways LLC. Our Pierogies are located in your store's freezer section. To prepare they may be boiled, baked, grilled, or we prefer fried low and slow in butter and/or oil. Longways Pierogies are made to be like a Potpie or Pasty they are not precooked cooked. Longways Pierogies remain  frozen until ready to cook so they come in very handy as a quick appetizer, meal or side dish. They are sold in 1 lb packages and are hand made in Michigan..!

Longways Pierogies are half circular dumplings of unleavened dough, stuffed (singularly or in various combinations) with a potato base and these flavors...Cheddar Cheese Pierogi, Sour Cream, Green Onion and Chives Pierogi, Cheddar Cheese and Jalapeno Pierogi, Farmer's Cheese Peirogi, Sauerkraut Pierogi, Taco Pierogi, Italian Herb Pierogi, Blue Cheese Pierogi, or other ingredients depending on the cook's personal preferences, plus seasonal flavors. Dessert versions of the dumpling are stuffed with a fresh fruit filling.

Pierogies By Longways LLC. Preparation

Longways Pierogi dough is rolled flat and then cut into circles. Longways Pierogi filling is placed in the middle and the dough folded over to form a half circle. The pierogies are boiled until they float and drained, or baked, or fried in butter before serving, or for you griller's lightly spray a frozen Longways Pierogies with cooking spray, place on grill, turning ever few minutes for a total cooking time of 8-10 minutes and enjoy. Most Longways Pierogies can be served with salsa or sour cream, however our Italian Herb is great with Marinara and the Sauerkraut Pierogi dipped in Thousand Island Dressing tastes terrific!
